VEERkracht organizes the VEERkracht Dairy Congress every two to three years, targeting cattle veterinarians, scientists, and nutritionists and other advisors in the dairy farming sector. The congress aims to provide in-depth knowledge of physiology and metabolism, which is essential for understanding the causes of health problems in dairy cows and thus preventing disease. To be and remain a good advisor, it is essential to translate scientific knowledge into daily practice. VEERkracht members actively contribute to this by applying and sharing this knowledge in their daily work.
International Speakers and Current Insights
Reputable international speakers are invited to each VEERkracht Dairy Congress. They present the latest scientific insights into health problems in dairy cows and bridge the gap between fundamental science and practical application in dairy farming. VEERkracht’s characteristic principle of the inside-outside approach is always applied. The dairy cow is approached from its physiological and metabolic needs, taking into account all external factors that influence this, such as nutrition, management, housing and environment.
